IS THE INFRARED HEATING ECONOMICAL AND ECOLOGICAL?
Renewable energy, i.e. electricity, can only be used for heating with heat pumps or infrared heating. Although a heat pump uses less electrical energy, it is not automatically the best choice.
What matters is the use of environmentally friendly electricity.
As the electricity is produced from renewable energy sources, the CO2 balance of infrared heating is also neutral. This means that heating with modern infrared heating systems is 100% climate neutral and you can save a lot of money in the long run compared to alternative systems!

We are convinced that infrared heat will play a central role alongside electric heat pumps in a future without fossil fuel heat production, and we will continue to promote it with great conviction.
From a political point of view, we understand the introduction of the so-called directive on more powerful infrared heating systems. Since 2018, an important first step has been taken, especially since systems without an intelligent form of control are no longer allowed to be sold.
We therefore use thermostats and accessories developed for this purpose with various built-in functions such as: reaction to open windows, units that can also be programmed via PC and/or Smartphone, PI control for modular control, etc.
For temperature control, we prefer to work with our ELIRRA thermostat which is 100% compliant with the European Ecodesign Directive.
